Power Rankings Explained:
1. 5 Points - With a key win over South in the last seconds of
the game, 5 Points has clinched the coveted 1st position on both the Hall Standings and the Power Rankings. A nimble
QB and tall WRs helped this team secure victory against the previously ranked best-team.
2.
Suburbs - A very all-around, athletic team. Suburbs has won every game they've played so far
(against good teams), and has played an amazing first-half-game. If the offense starts clicking, and doesn't get winded
or dulled, there is no stopping this team.
3.
2nd South - Although they played well today, South gave up too many big plays. Within the last
dwindling seconds, 5 Points rallied together to get a key touchdown and an even more key extra point. South could not
hold the Points' QB, and did not get a sack on the day. Bad snaps also lead to the previously ranked no. 1 team's defeat.
4. Hell's
Belz - The Belz halls have earned this power position because of their hard work and crafty QB. They
need to continue to feed the ball to their good recievers, but also change it up with tricky plays.
5.
2nd Central - The most underrated team on the hall standings list, Central has played the two toughest
teams, but proven themselves to be contenders. Their QB is undoubtedly amazing if he can rocket the ball down the field.
The bearded primary reciever of the team cannot be shut down in order for this offense to score points. Switching the
QB for a WR on the occasional 3rd down play might not be a bad idea.
6.
Sutherland - This Hall has demonstrated a large desire to win it all, but in order to do such, they
need a more unified approach. Practice sessions are needed for everyone to understand what they are doing on offense
and defense. They need to beat key teams for a morale booster and better turn-out. This team can really pull out
amazing victories against some of the better teams if they put their mind to it.
7.
Blackwatch - Blackwatch has shown real potential for a good football team, however, they will need
to overcome with some amazing receptions and interceptions for a good year. The QB has all the time in the world to
pass the ball, and he needs to utilize that time by shooting over the middle, or the deep ball to the sidelines.
8.
Ghetto - The Freshmen guys on the hall will be very good in years to come, but it doesn't seem that
Ghetto will be up to their standard last year unless their power players (alumni) show up for the games. Watch
for this team to move up the Power Rankings and Hall Standings.
9. Lawrence - This hall
is currently ranked last on the Power Rankings, and need to pull together with alot of practice if they expect to win any
games.
